Course Information:

The course explains and demonstrates how a specific area of the human body is constructed, how it moves and how it looks in different positions. The emphasis is on breaking the figure down into manageable components and learning to draw their threedimensionality.There is an added emphasis on copying and analyzing a variety of anatomical studies to compile a notebook representing all of the components of the figure. This class serves the needs of the student in drawing, painting and sculpting the human figure.54 hours lecture per term.
