Course Information:

This course covers working methods and media of master draftsmen from previous centuries. There is an emphasis on analyzing and copying master drawings in a variety of media. Further emphasis is placed on the traditional approach to drawing as practiced by masters such as Durer, Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Raphael, Rubens and others. 54 hours lecture per term.
