Did You Know?
1. The Fullerton College Theatre Festival with 2,000 students, 200 college volunteers, and 175 judges is one of hte largest in the Western United States.
2. The Theatre Arts Department recent alumni have transferred from Fullerton College to Juilliard, North Carolina School of the Arts, Carnegie Melon University, U.C.L.A., U.C.S.B., U.C.I., U.C.S.D., Cal State Long Beach, Cal State Fullerton, Whittier College, New York University, and many more schools.
3. The Theatre Arts Department awards $7,000.00 worth of scholarships at our annual banquets.
4. The Theater Arts Ambassadors host one social event per month and assist in our special workshops and opening night receptions.
5. Faculty member Mela Hoyt Heydon has worked for the Smithstonian Institute on special costuming projects.
6. In addition to his continuing professional directing opportunities, FC faculty Gary Krinke coaches expert witnesses for trial testimonies.
7. In addition to being an actor, director, scenic artist, set designer, and technical director FC faculty Chuck Ketter designs exhibitions for the L.A. County Fair.
8. FC staff member Jim Book is opening a new theatre in Fullerton with FC alum Brian Newell, with whom he created the Maverick Theater at the Block in Orange.
9. The star of Ditech commercials Ron Michaelson teaches Acting for the Camera and Improvisational Acting at Fullerton College.
10. Faculty member Juan Pazos studied multi-cutlural theatre with Jorge Huerta at San Diego State and Jose Cruz Valenzuela at UCLA.
11. Faculty member Martie Ramm was a member of the first national tour of A Chorus Line.

13. Film actors Matthew Lillard, Cress Williams, Randy Stripling, Jason Scott Lee, and Tamara Mello studied acting at Fullerton College.
14. MTV Diaries of Matthew Lillard in August 2004 included a clip from a workshop he did with the SRO actors in the Bronwyn Dodson Theatre last summer.
