High School Outreach

The Theatre Department at Fullerton College invites you to participate in any of our High School Outreach Programs:

The High School Matinee Program.

Each Fall and Spring we offer weekday matinee performances of Theatre classics produced in our spacious Campus Theatre. The Fall production is usually a comedy or drama with Shakespearean play appearing in alternating years. The Spring production has always been a musical. This proscenium theatre which seats 500 is furnished with a full fly loft and current state of the arts technology which allows us to bring a professional and modern look to the plays you would most like your students to experience. Each student receives a complimentary study guide, and you will find our ticket prices the best buy in Southern California. To place your name on our High School Matinee mailing list contact Office Manager Tess Jacobs (714-992-7425) tjacobs@fullcoll.edu

The Fullerton College High School Theatre Festival

Each March in conjuncition with our Spring term musical, we produce the largest high school theatre festival in the Western United States. 2,000 high school students from over fifty high schools descend on the campus for two days of acting and design competition, improvisation, workshops, and great fun. Over 150 judges adjudicate approximately 45 rooms of competition each hour, and 200 college workers help make this arguably one of the best run theatre festivals in the country. To receive registration materials and reserve your school's involvement in this year's festival, contact Office Manager Tessa Jacobs (714-992-7425) tjacobs@fullcoll.edu
