Bob Jensen has served as the Dean of Fine Arts since January 2005 after having taught in the Theatre Arts Department since 1980, where he distinguished himself as an award-winning director, designer, and instructor who loves to teach. During those twenty five years in Theatre Arts he played a variety of roles as a set and lighting designer, technical director, playwright, director, managing director, and department chair. Bob also served as the director of the Fullerton College High School Theatre Festival, which is attended by roughly 2000 high school students annually, the Managing Director of the Playwrights Festival, a new play development program, and the Directors Festival, designed to showcase the directing talents of student, alumni, and local directors. Bob's work has been recognized by the Kennedy Center/American College
Theatre Festival, OC Weekly, Los Angeles Times and the National Council of Instructional Adminstrators. He has twice won a Staff of Distinction award at Fullerton College. He is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and the University of Virginia. Bob and his wife Sandy, a writer and editor, live in Fullerton. They have three children.
