Suzanne Wong-Abe holds the B.M. and M.M. degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California. She has studied piano with Nancy Bricard and James Bonn, violin with Alice Schoenfeld, and theory with Dr. Robert Linn. Abroad, Ms. Wong-Abe has studied with pianist, Carlo Zecchi at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. She has also been on the faculty of the Colburn School of the Performing Arts.


For nine years, Ms. Wong-Abe was the Director of Advanced Curricula and the Junior Original Concert Program for the Yamaha Music Education System in the United States. In that role, she trained both teachers and students in the art of music composition and keyboard performance. Her students have appeared internationally as concert soloists, performing their own compositions.


Ms. Wong-Abe has given many presentations on composition and performance in seminars sponsored by the Yamaha Corporation of America and the Music Teachers' Association of California. Currently, she is on the faculty at Fullerton College and El Camino College where she teaches Piano, Music Appreciation and Harmony. She is also the resident pianist of the La Mirada Symphony and recently performed the Ravel Concerto in G with the Symphony in January 2005. She maintains a private teaching studio in Fullerton, CA
